Dr.Carol Forman-Helerstein is a licensed Clinical Nutritionist who maintained a private practice on Long Island (New York) for over 35 years and is presently practicing in Florida.  She has dedicated her professional career to helping people achieve higher levels of health through lifestyle changes and better nutrition.  She has concentrated her efforts in the areas of Type II diabetes, cancer prevention, weight loss, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, insomnia, and intestinal disorders including IBS and SIBO. 

Dr.Carol also believes that helping the body helps the brain.  Proper nutrition supports the improvement of memory loss, brain fog, poor focus, depression and anxiety.

Her engaging lectures and presentations have been heard at corporate meetings throughout the country, Bard College, Hofstra University, the Nassau County Police Department, and National Organization of Women (NOW).  Her articles on health and nutrition have been featured in Glamour, Allure, New York, Long Island Entertainment and Lifestyle, USA Today, New Beauty, Woman’s Day, Teen Vogue, Shape, and US magazines.

Dr.Carol has appeared on ABC’s Nightline, ABC’s Eye Witness News, and the Geraldo Rivera show, Geraldo at Large, and has been heard on The Joey Reynolds, WOR Talk Radio Show, and The Natalie Weinstein Talk Radio Show.  She has been interviewed for articles appearing in the Washington Post and Natural Health magazine.

As a member of the American Association of Bariatric Physicians, an organization dedicated to the scientific study of weight management, Dr.Carol has helped her clients face the difficult challenge of weight loss.

Her goal has always been, and continues to be, to  help people to live better lives through applying the principles of proper nutrition and teaching them new strategies to improve their health.
